Traditionally, OM and FM information has been delivered en bloc at the end of a project. ActivePlan reverses this and brings the OM/FM function into the design process. ActivePlan centralises all information needed for design and construction and creates a Facilities Information Model focussing on the items that require maintenance. As the design evolves and generic items are replaced with real equipment, the ActivePlan team continuously updates the model.
